How is it already September 12? I was on vacation for the first week of the month and then playing catch-up ever since I got back, and now September is over 1/3 gone. Holy Monkey.

Fortunately, although I haven’t written them out, I have my goals & plan for the Earn More Challenge all up here in my head.

Goals:

1. Make $1000 extra through means other than our normal income.
2. Clean up and declutter around the house.
3. Use any extra money earned to pay down our Car loan #1 so we can meet our goal of paying it off in 2009.
4. Track my progress here on the blog.
5. Form new relationships with the other bloggers participating in the challenge.

Sound good, right? But how am I going to do all this… in 18 days?

Plan:

1. Sell some large items on craigslist (old tv, computer monitor).
2. Sell some smaller items on eBay (cell phones, decorations, old servers).
3. Sell some old jewelry via Cash 4 Gold (from ex-boyfriends).
4. Sell old books on Cash 4 Books (notice a trend here?).
5. Sell old CDs & movies on Second Spin.
6. Add some ads to the blog. Check!
7. Post a round up of all the participants’ progress each week.

I’m pretty excited to get some of these things out of our house that have just been collecting dust. We have an entire bookshelf dedicated to “things to sell” and I’m looking forward to clearing it out! I’m really looking forward to finishing off this car loan - we have less than $4000 to go & this will really help!
