Coupons on Ebay

Today I hit a new all-time couponing high. Or low, depending how you look at it. I bought coupons on eBay. I paid money to get coupons. It seems kind of backwards, right? The point of coupons is to save money, not spend money. And to make matters worse, the coupons are for something I don’t even use.

However, I haven’t completely lost my mind. The coupons are for Glade plug-ins buy one get one free. For each plug-in one you buy, a Catalina coupon prints out for $4 off my next order. So by using the BOGO coupon, I can earn $4 for each pair of plug-ins. Then I can use those $4 coupons to buy gift cards. That’s the plan, anyway.

I wouldn’t buy coupons for any regular deals. It would have to be a fantastic deal that makes money (like this one), or a product that I love and use all the time. Either way, I want to try this out first before I buy any more coupons. If it works, I’ll get $80 in gift cards for groceries for the $4.98 I spent on eBay. Good deal!
