Cheap Date #9 - Minor League Baseball

I try to find fun, interesting dates to go on with my husband that cost less than $20 for both of us. Not all our dates qualify, but we try to make at least half of our dates cheap dates that don’t break the bank.

Last weekend, my husband and I met my mom and brother (Dad was sick) to watch the PawSox on a gorgeous Friday night.

Tickets are only $6/Adult or $4/Kids for General Admission, and $10/Seat for Box Seats. So a family of 4 can go for only $20!

We ordered the tickets online to pick up when we arrived, but it wasn’t really necessary and cost us $1 handling fee for each ticket. There were a ton of open seats and lots of people buying tickets at the booth right before walking in.

Now for a little confession: this date didn’t cost us less than $20. It very easily could have, but we bought food and drinks once we were in the ballpark. Nothing ridiculous or extravagant, but we spent about $35 total for the night.

All in all, we had a great summer night for less than half the cost of going to a major league game!
